Puckett
Floor Coverings has been in business since 1943. Mr. Ted Puckett
first opened to the public in Delmar, North St. Louis County.
A few years, later, larger premises were secured at Halls Ferry
Road in Florissant. We are currently located at 890 N. Lafayetter,
Florissant, MO 63031 in the "heart of old Florissant."
As
a full service store, Mr. Puckett personally attended to residential
and commercial customers delivering first quality flooring products
to include carpeting, vinyl, ceramic, hardwood floors, etc.

Mr.
Puckett retired in 1983 leaving his many residential and commercial
accounts to his son-in-law, Mr. Richard Herr. Again first quality
services provided the basis for company growth. Puckett Flooring
became a well-respected business by vendors and clients alike.
When
Mr. Herr retired the store continued operations under the ownership
of his son-in-law, Mr. Dennis Cowin. He maintained the tradition
of years of service to the St. Louis community until his departure
in April of 1999. At that time, Mr. Antonio Maldonado purchased
the business pledging to continue servicing old and new clients
with the Puckett guarantee of quality flooring at a reasonable price.
Antonio is dedicated to keeping up with all current "state
of the art" flooring products.

Client
database indicates our customers to be mostly middle age individuals
and their families interested in full services to include selection
of materials, preparation, installation and removal of discarded
goods. The Puckett guarantee includes one price for the total
job with no hidden or added work cost to the client.

Our
best advertisement is word of mouth attesting to the quality services
and experienced labor since 1943. Repeat business is 65% of our
jobs (e.g. children of past customers, neighbors, relatives, friends,
and not interested in "do it yourself" type stores and
their lack of services).
Commercial
Accounts have been serviced as well. Our repeat commercial accounts
include but are not limited to: Lutheran Senior Services, Ferguson-Florissant
& Hazelwood School District and many others.
